CBT
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a type of therapy that helps individuals identify and change thought patterns and behaviours that are impacted the individual. This form of therapy mainly focuses on the 'here and now' but also explores the historical development of the problem, whilst maintaining a goal-orientated, individualised approach.
CBT is evidence-based and recommended by National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) guidelines for a wide range of mental health difficulties. CBT can be delivered face to face and via video and both methods of delivery are significantly effective in improving symptoms.
